This fast-drying primer works by preparing the natural nail surface, removing excess moisture, and creating the ideal base for your TCG Dipping System #2 Base Coat.

This primer is an essential step for long-lasting dip nails with strong wear and a clean finish.

Used correctly, TCG Dip Primer helps reduce premature lifting, improves product bonding, and supports strong, durable dip powder enhancements.

How to Use – TCG Dipping System #1 Primer

Step-by-Step Instructions

You will need: Nail file/buffer, TCG #1 Primer, TCG #2 Base Coat, dip powder, activator and top coat.

1. Nail Preparation

  • Sanitise hands and nails.

  • Push back cuticles and remove any non-living tissue.

  • Lightly buff the nail surface using a 180 grit file or buffer.

  • Remove all dust thoroughly.

2. Apply Primer

  • Apply a thin layer of TCG Dipping System #1 Primer to the natural nail.

  • Avoid touching the skin and cuticle area.

  • Allow to air dry completely (usually 30–60 seconds).

3. Continue with Dip System

Once dry, proceed immediately with:
TCG Dipping System #2 Base Coat followed by powder dipping.

PRO TIPS:

  • Use only a thin coat – too much primer may cause uneven bonding.

  • Make sure the nail is fully prepped and dust-free before applying.

  • Do not apply primer over oils, lotions, or wet nails.

  • Cap the free edge for maximum durability.

  • Always keep the bottle tightly closed to prevent evaporation.
